Wanda Ivelisse Reeves, 68, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on March 10, 2023. She was born October 5, 1955, to Jose A. Moura Gracia and Alicia Martinez in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Wanda is preceded by her parents, Jose A. Moura Gracia and Alicia Martinez, her grandparents Jose A. Moura Torres, Sabina Gracia, Alejandro Martinez and Florentina Gracia and a sister, Cinthia Moura.
Wanda was a vibrant person, full of life. She was always smiling. Wanda met the love of her life, Jim in Germany and they ended up eloping in Bov, Denmark and have been married for 29 years. She enjoyed fishing, eating, dancing, especially country and salsa music. She was a “helper”, and helped several family members in their time of need for as long as they needed her. She was available to assist at a moment’s notice. Wanda made her career as a nurse in the United States Army for 17 years and retired as a Major. She also worked another 17 years for the Civil Service as a nurse and later as a RN case manager at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband Jim Reeves, her son Jose M. (Leidy De Rivera) Rivera Moura, daughter Glorialice Rivera Moura, son William Reeves, son Christopher Reeves, and daughter Leilani Reeves. Also, seven grandchildren David and Jessie Lopez, Andrea and Nikolas Reeves and step grandchildren Emely, Saori, and Darlin Cedano. Her two sisters Evelyn (Randolph) Rodriguez-Moura and Maritzel (Jose R. Marin Jr.) Moura Marin. Wanda has many nephews and nieces, Glorilice Rodriguez-Moura, Glorialibeth (Matt) Borgese, Randy Rodriguez, Jose (Lauren) Marin. Great nephews and nieces, Destiny Roman, Justin Roman, Eric Roman, Demi Love Roman, James Marin and Jeremy Marin, Adriana Alexis Borgese, Alyssa Grace Borgese. Also, two great great nieces and nephews, Arianna Mecedes Roman and Zen Bracerro.
A special thanks to the staff at Claude Parish Clinic in Harrison, also for the superior care the Hospice of the Hills staff gave to Wanda.
