Mary Hughes Obituary

Mary Lois Hughes, 76, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away at her home surrounded by family on April 24, 2024. She was born on March 6, 1948, in Steele, Missouri, the daughter of William and Lorene (Babbit) Wright.

Mary was a Christian and her faith was very strong. She loved Jesus. Mary was an avid book reader, she enjoyed reading spiritual books. Mary adored cardinals. She liked to color by numbers with her gel pens and do word searches. When her fingers would allow her to, she enjoyed embroidering. Mary appreciated the time she had with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for them, her specialty was fried chicken, rice and gravy.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Deborah Koch and brother David Wright.

She is survived by her daughter Bonnie (Brian) Mogle, her son Brian (Karen) Chambers and grandkids Rachel, Amanda (Bryce), Nick, Nathan and Sarah. Mary is also survived by her siblings Roy Wright, Jerry Wright, Shirley Hedges and Pat Wooldrige.
